hi God is totally amazing heh and i've basked in this experience for the past coupla weeks... thank u Lord =)
yups first is the tiger beer design competition i've been involved in with some ONEstudio pple haha yes we actually registered our grp as ONEstudio and advertised it to whoever wanted to know =) yup it was basically a slightly more than month-long thing where we had to design something of the theme of "coming together" or friendship, using primarily tiger beer cans and bottles. there were like several stages of elimination rounds haha but thank God we went all the way to the finals. once again an experience where i learnt humility... u cant be sure u'll get thru to the next round so it's total trusting in God... yups. it was tough also cos all of us are working on internships so we could only meet after work to do the designs/make the models/ discuss the strategies etc. but God is good. despite all the difficulties and all the subjectivity... we won! Hallelujah =) hehe actually everyone in the finals wd get a prize... its just that the consolation prizes wd have been lesser than what we spent to make the thing so really thank God we won =) oh btw u guys can see it if u wanna. It's now at the National Library at Victoria St on Level 8. Yups so check it out if u can. its the tallest one at the end. basically it looks like a cool chillout bar alcove thingy =) yups it's photogenic haha looks better in photos then in real. And i guess when we transported it frm downstairs to level 8 it suffered a lil. thank God it was mostly intact... one grp had theirs so bad they couldnt bring it up. any how it was a good experience and wow it was nice winning hehe though i didnt like the publicity thank God it wasnt that widespread though erm i'm sure tiger wd like it to be more. anyhow i hope that it's the beginning of many more to come. ONEstudio scores! yeha =) and u guys will get more treats too hehe I liked the summer berries iced parfait frm tcc that day C= haha i love their flavours basically
actually i was sick the days just before the finals. haha the day before which was 2 fridays ago 24th... some of my grp pple took leave... i didnt but well in the end i was forced to take MC haha and i must say it was horrid buttering contact glue on the cans all day sat while having a bad nise. thank God i survived it well and i'm well now =)
as for my internship today was like a watershed of sorts. I have a great boss i must really say! thank you God once again You are always good to me =) yup more on the details of what really happened in the next entry... erm will try to be more regular? haha sorry ah the life of a working person is well less flexible than a students... so dun complain ah... I've concluded that studying is far better than working =)
