Hallelujah! yay praise ye the Lord! :) hehe i'm so happy now cos after a long drawn 'battle' since yest i finally got the usp mod i wanted C= by God's grace thank you God =) yeah i'm kinda high now hehe. ok i know it may seem kinda nutty to u but the nus module bidding sys is such that it can be so crazy... it's like sweet victory, like winning some scholarship haha not exactly but that yay! feeling u know... actually it's like an auction where u have to use yr brains... to keep yrself in the running yet keeping the lowest successful bid low (cos that's the 'price' all successful bidders have to pay) and worse is there will always be kiasu pple who put highly ridiculous bids to spoil the mkt (mb that's why i had to part with 500+ pts to get that mod but ok i shall not complain at least i got it rite:) a highly stressful process i must say esp when u're in yr 1st yr... i rem last year i was so confused and freaked out haha but thank God He helped me fig out it and actually since i have fixed aki mods, it's not so complicated. only prob is, the times of the mods clash as in those i can choose smtimes clash with the fixed ones so it lim my choices. but the MOST ANNOYING part is that every sem, they give me 750 pts in the acc to bid for fixed aki mod that i need only 1 pt to get an assured space and 250 pts in the acc to bid for usp mod that are not fixed which i really need points to get my mods esp when pple of other facs have a more equal distribution of the points over the 2 acc. so we and engin pple r like losing out a bit but thank God i managed to get some mods for 1 pt so i can still afford to spend so much on others. anyhow i still think they shd review their sys... it totally doesn't take into account the nature of our course and it's structure. haha ok i shall stop the angsty ramblings here =)

anyhow now next wk is the last wk of my hols... gonna enjoy it for all that's left of it :) Summmer hols oh how lazy =) yeah it's like the most surreal experience with other much to do and all the time in the world... ah the good bitsw of uni life :) gotta savour it while it lasts b4 the grind come back again, the cutting, the sanding, the critiqing, the drawing, the moulding, the thinking, the planning, the attempting to keep awake, the bitching (er we still need help in this area :) paiseh

haha nowdays i'm also watching the young justice bao drama on ch8 mond to tues at 1030... a deviation from the emotionally heavy love stuff i usually watch =) influenced by my dad who switched it on and it's really intriguing haha bao zheng and the xiao qing1 ting2 are so cute haha they keep squabbling but actually haha plus both have that mischievous glint in the eye ;) haha ok i guess i shd go now after spending hours on the laptop thanks to the module auction hehe Good nite folks :)

hi i've finally finished the last transcript for my job *grinz* wow it's more hard work than I originally thought. esp the last one cos the recording was kinda soft. But thank God it's all done. But they might have more to do. Oh well at least it's a very flexible job :) The kids are cute too hehe some of them say really funny stuff, and it's amazing how advanced they are these days... msn and handphones at pri 6 etc etc Anyhow I really thank God for this job :) yeah and thanks Cheryl too :) Press on k in your transcribing too :) God is your strength :) oh yeah actually i really wanted to be a volunteer for the Olympics thingy but i din see the ad but if i had been one i cdnt have taken this job so yeah I'm thankful for the way God planned that :) anyhow, the Olympics thingy was really exciting, as in the stars haha raul and arantxa...it's been a long time since i've seen her in the grand slams cos she's retired now. colin jackson is cute er not in looks but he's like this lil kid so excited and happy :)

Now I've this major timetable issue for next sem. the usp mods i wanna take esp the SS one which is compulsory, clash with my aki mods which are fixed. Thank God there's at least one that I wanna take and it doesn't clash. jus gotta pray that i can get it in pre-allocation or at bidding which will be harder since after pre allocation, vacancies r less. I really hope they come up with more mods dunno why so few this sem. Also hopefully i can get the BU tut I want when it's time for balloting cos there's only 1 timing that is good. argh oh well gotta trust Him in this. like we gotta do work even b4 sch starts... all the planning and bidding but i shd be thankful cos the arts pple wd have to bid for almost everything, for us at least the fixed mods confirm can get haha and no need to think of all the various permutations and combis of timetables u can take.
so i guess with choice comes more decisions yeah.

Btw i got this email some weeks ago and guess what it was informing us of the new stalls in engine canteen :) we have Jap food now!!! Praise God! yay no need no go arts when we wanna eat jap fd =) i think there were other stuff but i only rem the jap one haha. hmm that day when i went bk to sch i ate with cheryl at sci canteen for the 1st time. the western there was interesting, even had stuff like baked rice (a fave of mine :) and stuff like shepard's pie... too bad it's a shuttle bus ride away frm aki. we even walked to the med cafe... was so nice, even cheaper than munchie somemore... are the perks of the med pple... oh well since they're prob the only fac that suffers prob more than or equally to us the akitects to be =) hmm then how come we dun have such a cafe? our version is macs i reckon er but not exactly smthg u can eat daily oh well, at least now got jap so dun complain haha

ok so now the singapore sale is ending. but do u know that the m'sian one starts on the same day gss ends? hehe so yeah jus a lil tip from the shoprano :) hey i've been relatively controlled in my shopping k =) Serious.

hi. haha for all the promotion i've done for Passion AC... yours truly herself didnt go. paiseh *sheepish smile* hehe oh well mostly cos i had a busy week n tired n cos I jus realised i havent done worship for cg tmr (which i was supposed to be on duty for) ahhh... when cheryl decided not to go i guess it made my decision more decided plus my mum's of the opininon i shd stay home cos it was a real busy week 4 me haha though i had really wanted to go. hmm pple who went tell me abt it k? historic huh for AC :) yup good direction though bringing bk the prescence of God into AC... hopefully outsiders will soon no longer regard us as the snobbish, rich brat, kentang sch... but a sch with a big heart for God and for others, one blessed by God but humble, one respected by others, one that will draw others to God :) yup pray on pple :)

this week has been busy but God has been good hehe i started my "job" today! yup it's this NIE research thingy where i do transcribing work for them... thanks a big bunch to cheryl for it *big grinz* hehe it's quite interesting... haha jus when i had almost lost hope of getting a job but God always comes in at His perfect timing =) Praise Him! :)

I played tennis on tues with esther & min too! hehe so happy though our movie plans were cut short cos i had to go see a demo for the transcribing job... but it was a good thing cos i din have to meet them on wed nite for demo as originally planned. hehe so i still managed to see Love of the Aegean sea on channel u at 730 ;) Thank you God for the nice arrangment :) haha our tennis is kinda horrigible cos we all seldom play. hmm i shall resolve to restring my other racket so can play with my dad and hopefully improve C=
