Last nite was my studio's Christmas party... it started with a mad scramble for a venue cos Nikki was sick... poor thing what a time for it... mus be the flu bug? It was supposed to be my place but the moneymaking condo management charges like 30 bucks for the function room... hai so in the end we went to zy's condo in grange rd which had bbq pits for free (mine costs $20) Orchard road on a sat evening crawls with hordes of pple... so terrible man even in cold storage. Yup we went food shopping then to the party. Highlight of the party was the gift exchange. We drew lots to see in what order we chose the presents then each one of us had to unwrap in front of all haha to unveil any cheapskates... no there weren't any heh. I got a peanuts mug frm Lingwei & she took my prezzie... hmm i think the photo album zy got frm ernest & the pretty jewel box w ferreros astee got frm jo were by far the best stuff :) that ban zhang so graciously & perhaps happily hehe took chu yuet's prezzie was the most hilarious part haha claiming to save marshall frm havin to take it was a poor excuse :) okok enough of laughing at them. the food wasnt too bad... thought that jo's oreo cheesecake wasn't that bad we were all so mean to make her the butt of laughter... i drank a lil vodka w Sprite or was it 7up & fruit juice... was kinda diluted though... I suspect the concoction was responsible for my poor stomach this morn. Sigh the price to pay for being naughty cos my mum actually told me not to drink cos I was still a lil sick.
We then went to esplanade to hear qb sing...some a capella grp Christmas carolling thingy. The gals took Marshall's car while the guys cabbed there. Got caught in a jam at orchard... saw those streetwalkers outside the notorious Orchard Towers... so terrible polluting the place with their immorality in town somemore. Hope the authorities can solve this prob soon. Finally got there but we only caught the last part of the last song haha. Went to Harry's after that my first time at a pub haha so quai huh haha okok be humble petrina! didn't want to stay though cos i didnt felt like paying 4 a cab... i think i din hav much cash anyway & was awfully tired anyw...thank God banzhang wanted to leave so that was a good chance for me to leave as well since i din want to be a wet blanket... in the end a few others left as well... kinda pity cos qb was feeling ultra generous not to say that he isnt and offered to treat us all to drinks. Ok in the end I dont regret it... I mean drinking & pubbing isnt good though the former is kinda appealing hehe Also I had to get up early this morning for church so if I had stayed on it wd hv been terrible this morn... yup sp thank God for the way He provided & the way things turned out.
On the whole, it wasnt bad though i miss the AH kinda party haha chillin out at chris' house & all... well well it's a different culture altogether gotta accept that yea.

hi kinda getting lazy to write this...well i'm now down with the flu what a time to get it but I really thank God that it's not during sch time cos in archi u can never be sick it's simply not allowed and MCs are useless they simply mean u'll be stuck with backdated work which means you'll jus suffer more intensely so sadistic huh. well well... i went to the NUS doctor today & it cost me a shocking 2 bucks haha saw the cashier grin at my surprise. Well praying that I'll get well b4 min,esther & serene come over on wed. Hai kinda bored nowadays...aside frm surfing the net, watching TV and wrapping Christmas prezzies :) haha my fave there's nothing much else to do...even shopping has become mundane...I guess I mus learn how to relax b4 the craze begins again...I think we've been so conditioned to use every moment that we hav that we dunno how to relax...haha it's like ban zhang saying he dunno what to do during the hols...relax man! :) hope I get into a good studio next sem too studio 1 was a Godsend really...never been in a class where the system works so wonderfully like clockwork (ok aside frm minor glitches) it's amazing how our ivle way of studying, our sys of buying supplies, our friday self-created PE sessions ( to battle out unhealthy lifestyles hehe) and all worked out so well...I guess most of the credit has to go to ban zhang who is so meticulous & perfectionist :) and also never been so comfortable with most pple in the class b4. I mean there's usually cliques & all & those pple whom u seldom mix with or if yr good friends dun go to some class thingy u wont but I dun feel this way abt studio one...like we're almost family or something? I think it's cos of the suffering we endured together all those nites of relentless drawing & model making & also cos the mix of personalities was good :) and haha maybe cos MG and AC r very cliquish and more image concious or something? like all these Hwa Chong & VJ & temasek pple amongst others are more warm and real haha...well but I do miss the MG AC atmosphere & culture...it's so diff here gotta learn to speak Chinese? really cannot make it haha somemore now trying to learn french Comment allez vous? haha Tres bien ma cherie! okok enough of the crap gtg now

hi now my main source of entertainment is the TV and the net haha Tv mostly at nite n net in the day... watching those Korean, Jap dramas haha esp like Searching for my polestar on sun on ch8. yeah and s'pore idol... love Olinda's powerful rich voice - no one there has such brilliant vocals as her but Taufik's deserving of the win too. hmm watch it more for the music then anything else dun vote though let's jus say it aint a wise way to spend yr money - on all this mad sinful idolatry esp when it gets obsessive. ok that aside i like amazing race too - u get to see all these interesting places. ah shopping another of my fav pastimes - i've been relatively good so far havent bought much prob cos i'm fussy n cos i haven't done much shopping...
ok i've went back to the gym after months of barely exercising since architecture took up almost all of my time...somehow running on the treadmill is nothing like running in the open... well but its more convenient and safer i guess.
ok gtg clear the mess in my room :) haha its littered with papers books and model making paraphernalia. Got worship practice tonite too at church... playing 2nd keyboard now.
