hi... it's back to school tmr awww... after a nice lil holiday =)
then on tues, it's a PH again... not bad... i always like the 2nd sem cos it has much more PHs than the 1st. School... it's a mix of feeling gg bk... i mean i'll miss the slacking in the hols, the reading (something other than aki bks) , the shopping, the meeting with friends (other than the aki ones :) , the generally have a nice leisurely time =) yups but then again hols can get somewhat boring and lonely - this is where sch is better. So there, oh well I guess i'll jus learn to be content where i am :) yupsie Philippians 4:11-13 is the inspiration... go chk it out :)
ok the last week has been mostly spent catching up with non-aki friends... finally! hehe yup it's like when all the aussie folks come back for the long hols. went for min's 21st bday on New Year's Day... yes yes we r all growing old hehe but mine's still a long way away *grinz*
Met up with cheryl and gra on fri... and guess what they are both gg on exchange to California! and it's unplanned by them by planned by God... hehe so nice. But the thing that boggles me the most is that while they're in the same state, but they're in different parts & hence are separated by like 8,9 hrs? its like their one state is much huger than our one country ( not forgetting they have 50 states) I think living in Singapore just distorts your vision of how huge the world really is. It really fascinates me still i think... it's like the US, the UK and most other countries have tons of towns that each have a unique character wow... suddenly feel like gg on a road trip to the UK... aww so nice and quaint. wishful thinking for now :) but u nv know... there can be miracles when u believe =) haha ok...
now on to bidding - the traditional initiation ritual before the sem starts. I really thank God this time its so breezy... unlike the emotional events of yore =) haha that's cos of the 5 fixed aki mods this sem, which means i cant take usp mods, which than translates to a happy - i do not need to cringe over the few modules i can and want to take, then agonise over which module to take, and then spent hours taking part in an 'auction' for my mods and than praying hard that i can get what i want, and then the rejoicing when i get it & the pain when i dont. haha but this time we can ballot for our design tutors (where previously it was assigned) so it's like well i really hope that it'll turn out well - voting results out tmr at 2 (haha aki sch is really like a reality show =) part project runway, part survivor, part american idol, part amazing race. so yeah it's nv boring, seriously.
oh, the only drawback with all these fixed aki mods? the timetable more or less fixed too. well well, so now the only thing is the balloting for tutorial slots... gotta pray hard its good. but at least this one u dun have to auction haha.
ok i guess i shd go off soon cos there's sch tmr... thank God the rain has finally stopped :) it has like rained the entire day... and the hill was like so misted really nice and fairy taley haha yups thank God for the nice scenery :) some time ago, on this particular nite there was like wuite a lotta lighting... its like actually dark but the flashes of lightning felt & looked like God was switching on His light! haha then suddenly the hills were lighted wow... yupsie i have a nice view ... :)
