Hi I came back from KL on wed... have been slacking ard since then (haha like i was b4 i left)
ok seriously =) I've been gg out with friends b4 the KL thing... esther, min (btw i really enjoyed the shopping that day thanks a big bunch =) yup had a great time & a great pair of $10 x:odus slippers to show for it *big grinz* hehe next up was shopping with jo & lw... haha I loved Pride and Prejudice... my fave keira knightly! she looks better here... more filled out compared to Love Actually. i really liked the book a lot ... did it for s-lit in jc (haha i rem reading it nonstop in the midst of classes) oh man perhaps it was the best part of s-lit haha... ok yup the character of mr darcy is a fave too ;) hahaha actually when i saw the poster with matthew macfayden i was kinda disappointed cos i felt they shd have chosen someone more handsome but man he was the perfect mr darcy in the movie yup - a gentleman, macho yet somewhat mysterious and quiet =) hehe i like that. b4 i watched it there was this article in life! abt how the movie was not for the true austen fan, abt how the casting was somewhat wrong BUT after personally watching the movie i think that's not true at all... I'm a TRUE austen fan and the castings ALL good... when i read the book i had this image of how lizzy & mr darcy wd be like but that in the movie was a pretty good interpretation too. I really like print-to-screen movies... it's like when u read a book, the story enfolds thru yr imagination, yr interpretation. But when u watch the movie, it visually brings to life what u cd only previously imagine. (of cos this is supposing the movie is good =) but it is here aint it? =) hehe ok so the next one coming up is The Chronicles of Narnia... awww i'm so excited abt that one too hehehe when i saw the first trailer way back i think sometime in the mid of this yr i was thrilled! i got the lion, the witch & the wardrobe as a book prize way bk in pri3 ( & the best part was i didnt even choose it, it was given to me on top of the book i chose! thank You God! =) and long b4 it became fashionable =) i'd already finished all the books in the series hehehe... so happy haha i'm gg to watch it with my mum cos she kinda shares the same liking for the book since she was young haha... U know what actually the series has Christian allusions in it cos C.S Lewis (the author) was a devout Christian, by God's grace transformed from a athetist! yup with God all things are possible =) and thru him God gave us such a wonderful series plus other books as well =) yup so i'm pretty happy movie-wise C=

then it was off to KL for a shopping trip with my parents... it was my 2nd time there - the 1st time last year on the aki trip with my studio 1. pretty different i must say, the first time we got to see so many interesting houses and all thanks to our tutors connections =) yup was real good... but shopping was like this mad mad cram. so this time it was all abt shopping =) and some food haha. the hotel wasnt that great but the location was good enough so well but the ParkRoyal we stayed at the 1st time (thanks to Nikki =) was really good i miss that... design wise it was intriguing too... haha i rem we reached there in the mid of the nite n we like slouched over the plush couches in the lobby then a few of us got bored & decided to explore... then we discovered a piano & started to play till some hotel person came to stop us & promised an early chk-in! haha thank God for that =)

this time me & my parents did like tons of shopping... the soles of my feet are still somewhat dry and rough from all that walking. oh man it was really fruitful hehe thank You God for the great buys *big grinz* hehe yup and i got some good aki books from the basheer & kino there too... u cant believe it the book i got frm basheer was like 30 bucks cheaper than in s'pore amazing! yup it was a wonderful surprise =) plus at kino they gave me free ish mags with the book i bought ... so blessed i cant contain it, so blessed i gotta give it away! =) haha how appropriate... my God is a good God! :) so yeah it was a good shopping trip. one thing i must say is that no matter what u complain abt the service stds in S'pore it's still better than KL (so be thankful for what u've got k) and the trip back was quite eventful... met a coach that broke down, another that collided with a fruit-carrying lorry. So thank You God once again for keeping us safe frm harm and danger.

And now it's back to my boring life again =) er and no more gorgeous breakfast buffets for a time =) hehe i loved the omelettes they had, and the cereal, and the samosas, and the ikan bilis, and the.... hehe okok u get the idea. it's back to packing my room (which i started but have yet to complete argh) and wrapping Christmas prezzies and reading stuff and attempting to fig out cad and playing games on yahoo, friendster etc (a habit i have to kick soon) and watching TV and of cos narnia =) shopping has to take a backseat (the quotas full dear girl =) oh yeah and to catch up with ser, es, min, lee and ger.... and cheryl, gra, steph... ah so many things to do and so lil time... soon it will be Christmas time! =) yup and practicing for the Christmas service in church and worship too.

Aww one of the sad things that strikes me is how fast time passes... it's like i've been in aki for more than a year... left AC for 2 yrs now and MG for 4 yrs... it's too fast for me to comprehend... it's like when u're in it u think it's so long but when u look back and all the memories jus come flooding back... its just so overwhelming, and nostalgic and bittersweet in a sense... some u want to relive again and some u wish u could just erase ... and sometimes u wish u cd just turn back time to change something...

Ok i could go on forever if i wrote all my thoughts down =) hehe am pretty much an emo person though somehow i dun show it on the exterior so yeah... better go now. God bless n good nite! =) sweet dreams.
