hi this week's been really longgg ... i've been staying in studio till like 9 ten plus almost everyday. ok shdnt complain since last sem it was 11+ or 6 - 7 + the following morning C= haha dunno why suddenly got so much things to do. my 1st design for the artist retreat got critcised "wedge of cheesecake" "why is oks such a complaining client?" hai he kept poking fun at my artist... i seriously think i cant express myself well as in cant really get the real msg i want to get to other pple through verval communication. oh great. pple miscontruing what i say again. nvm well well looking to a better tmr haha.
spent tues drawing trees for hours on end. ok but the end result was highly gratifying :) hehe thank God my 1326 tut went well on wed he din insult us actually said "good good" haha i think he liked our cad drawings thanks to Paul-a. haha was so funny when zy said it was immoral to ask him do the model - since the cadding was quite crazy. then had to go for this talk for my art hist mod. it was realtively boring - i cant believe they think presenting papers means reading it ALL out. somemore it's a usp thing - mus hav more std rite?thurs was the crit that i got criticised at. finally after that i cd go home to take a breather (not that i din go home the previous days jus that when u have studio u generally dub breathe the days b4 =)
fri was supposed to be the 1326 day when my grp pple will take turns at the laser machine and sanding whenever we dun hav classes. our plan was kinda messed up cos zy din manage to go to art friend to excahnge the fat wood for thinner ones so we only lasered a lil bit. and we din have enough sand paper so we cdnt sand all. argh sanding lasered wood or any wood is a painful process. the wood dust is like unhealthy to breathe in, it makes yr skin painful and haha maybe smooth like the wood? hahaha oh well 1326 seems to eat up a lot of time. we're etill at it after so long and it isnt ending soon either. by abt 9 we were like cracking jokes and slacking. it all started with ernest's calatrava calamari then we started thinking of food names derived frm architects or architecture. haha i was like the biggest contributor - haha they thought i was losing it. i have a high pun quotient i think haha... ando chendol, corbu tofu, a bottle of botta, shigeru bun, louis kahn-tang, forster lobster, siza pizza, bawa bak-kwa, kenzo tang yuan, markli martini etc etc seriously we have enough to start an aki restaurant haha so hilarious but only aki pple will get it C= so after like laughing madly and since zy was checking out the fast cars we decided to close shop and go home.
today was the first day this week i managed to sleep in late. went to sch in the afternoon to do bu. today's the nus open house so the mpsh was overrun with pple. i went to the aki-id booth to do the report. haha we were strategically placed next to the nussu booth that was giving out free stuff so i managed to get a charlie's angels toy motorbike. it was really droolworthy heh BU is the new 1326 - so time consuming. but at least 1326 is fun - the model making part :) haha i like making models! bu is downrite boring. but i intend to do it well do got to jian che xia qu. oh well gotta do my design model tmr thank God i got a new idea hopefully he'll like it. actually i'm enjoying this p2 design thingy. but jus that got lotsa other things to think abt as well.
