hi i'm so tired today... got up at so crazy hour of 5 plus cos we were supposed to meet at mac ritchie at 7. haha when i finally left the house at 630 and was on the bus... i realised that jm had called me thrice (how did i not hear it?) and msg me that they were postponing the thing cos it was still raining. so i had to turn bk. actually i think if we went ahead it'll hav been still ok cos it stopped raining when i reached home. but it was ultimately a blessing in disguise cos i managed to finish my art & archi essay b4 i had to go to sch for the 1326 consultation. haha lo and behold my 'wonderful' tutor agreed to see us and he didnt insult or nitpick or was sarcastic towards us today. yay praise God for that :) heh like a breakthrough cos this is the 1st time he's actually nice to us. Ok in the end we still hav lotsa stuff to do for 1326 :( but things are getting better :) thank God.
Then the prob came abt mac ritchie... it was like raining intermittently so we din know how... but we had to go cos the site study presentation is tmr! so in the end after lunch and thankfully the rain subsided we cabbed there. we think we got cheated cos the driver took us the long way (instead of the nearer bt timah way) and it came out to ten bucks... ok not so bad since there were 4 of us to share :) hehe it was really hot when we reached but it started drizzling halfway thru. The thick canopy shielded us frm the rain. haha there was a sch doing their cross-country there... recollecting all my memories of those days :) yup i liked cross country haha even took part in the competitive in j2 haha for cca pts with ger. i think i came in like 103? outta 250 pple. Ok but cd have been better. hmm today was different... it was kinda weird we were like busy taking photos of the site and taking out measuring tape to measure the dimensions of the spaces for our artist retreat and sketching stuff (particularly marking out trees haha) actually after archi or more specifically the KL field trip i developed a liking for photography - prob cos i did well for that part ( finally managed to capture some good stuff after years of mediocrity:) thank God and i do seriously enjoy the artistic part in it. so well today was a good snappy day hehe we walked on the boardwalk till it ended then came bk... initially thought of walking all the way to the tree top walk but it wd have taken hrs by the time we reach it'll be closed. it was abt 11km away!
came home after that was falling asleep on the bus... i jus finished my ppt on the essay i wrote in the morn while talking to lee & ger on msn abt some anti-fur stuff. we were talking abt a video of how pple skin racoons alive for their fur - so horrid and heartless - all for money. Indeed money is the root of all evil. hai poor cute animals. also talked abt the mg phenomenon in melbourne haha. recently esther & clarabell were added to that. hai i miss them all. ok still hav min and ger here. :)
ok this week has been pretty xiong... had a presentation on mond & 2 tmr and a mid-term exam yest. yup the chem one - well it was kinda iffy like the 1 sht of paper we cd bring in as notes was generally unhelpful. well not unexpected huh. I hope i can still do relatively well. haha only exciting thing was the glass shoes. yeah i suppose it shd be ending soon - but it's like one anti-climax aft another. argh these k dramas are so draggy but the plot's pretty captivating yeah.esp when yr life's as boring as mine haha. oh yest i went to the basheer fair... hmm no this time no good buys. argh why r archi books always so ex? tsk tsk discriminate against students :) i liked the calatrava that was like 100+ bucks (crazy) and the 53 bucks renzo piano! hehe they're in for me this season (haha in lw's words) ok i guess the renzo bk is still ok but it kinda didnt hav that many tech drawings? but my fav tibaou cultural centre is in it :)
ok i better go to sleep soon. gotta wake up early tmr to practise "Emmanuel" for this sun's worship - my 1st song for KB 1- my WL's great idea. okok instead of complaining that he doesnt know that i hav a tough week & is piling this on me i shd be thankful to God for the opportunity to serve rite?. Yeah okok i'll do it willingly :) try my best by God's grace. yup yup good nite then.
